The Parish Council understands that the road closure has been extended to 22nd May 2026 in order that essential safety works can be completed.
The recent bad weather and need to work around extensive scaffolding has delayed the work. In addition, drainage is being improved and resurfacing undertaken to avoid further closures at a later date.
The contractor has thanked everyone for their patience whilst these essential safety works are completed.
