The Bridford Inn is hosting a party night for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. 40's/50's dress is encouraged. Music from Humming Birds Acapella.
The Bridford Jubilee Beacon will be lit at Westcott Mound. No parking is available at the venue. Acorn has agreed to lend its minibus which will provide a shuttle from the Bridford Bus stop to Plaston Green from 9pm until midnight. There will be children's sports at the Play Park followed by a tea party at the Village Hall at 4pm. There will be a raffle and donations of prizes would be much appreciated. Prizes can be left with Mrs Blight at Wood View (next to the bus shelter). Donations of cakes would also be appreciated. …
Bring your own Village Picnic; Fancy Dress - 'Fashion through the Reign'. Marquees, Bar (courtesy of the Bridford Inn); games; races; side stalls; music by Teign River Choir. Cream tea and cakes from 3pm; The event will continue into the evening with music and BBQ.
