Minutes of a meeting of Bridford Parish Council held at Bridford Village Hall Monday 5th January 2015 at 7.00pm.
Present: Cllrs S Purser (Chairman), G Hearnden, T Evans, A Lord, E Price, F Miles, Mrs J P Banks (Clerk). No members of the public attended the meeting.

It has been brought to the attention of the Chairman that residents in Scattor View have issues over a permanent skip in the driveway of number 5. Environmental Health has been advised. Letter to be sent to the occupant to request that it is covered.
Peter Harper, Chairman of DNPA has written to the Parish Council advising that he is the ‘link Parish Councillor’ and to contact him if we would like him to attend a Parish Council meeting.. A letter will be sent to Mr Harper inviting him to come along to a meeting and give a presentation on financial information and current issues that effect Bridford.

MATTER ARISING
4 Minutes – the Parish Council resolved to approve minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on December 1st 2014 as a true and accurate record of the meeting.
5 Allotments – the top hedge has been cut back. Plot number 3 still vacant.
6 Play Area – nothing to report
7 Village Hall – nothing to report
8 Snow Warden – Adrian has been gritting the hill, still awaiting confirmation that he has attended the official DCC briefing to enable him to be covered under DCC insurance.
- Fly Tipping – the television and computer monitors are still by the electricity substation. A further email has been sent to TDC to ask for them to be removed.
ANY OTHER MATTERS ARISING
- Meetings Attended – the Chairman attended a Bridford Trust meeting. Finances are fine. Working parties are being organised. Five year programme being worked through. The mower has been serviced. No major events planned. Cllr Miles has been in touch with Bridford Trust as a newly appointed Parish Council representative and is looking forward to attending the next Trust meeting.
- Cnty Cllr Jerry Brook – emailed report. DCC is working towards the proposed budget for 2015/16 which will mean changes in service delivery as Central Government progresses its debt reduction programme.

13 Seven Acre Farm, Bridford – re proposed retention of existing unauthorised temporary agricultural worker’s dwelling up to 23 September 2015 (DNPA ref. 00710/14). “”The Parish Council has no objections to this application”

- NALC 2014 – 2016 National Salary Award – the Parish Council resolved to authorise the following payments and pay increases to the Clerk in line with the latest National Salary Scales
SCP 21 increase of £0.32 per hour to £10.261 per hour w.e.f. 1 January 2015
Increase to SCP 22 – increase £0.27 per hour to £10.527 per hour w.e.f. 1 April 2015
One off non consolidated payment of £100 December 2014
