No notification but I’ve just spotted a DCC Gritter doing the hill. I’m guessing he went as far as the phone box. Anne

Jarrod and Mick have just been out to try and get the grit down before the promised snow. However, I’ve just received a “Don’t travel unless your journey is really necessary“ from the Police Alert Service. Highways are doing the Primary Routes at least four times, no indication as to whether they’re proposing to do any Secondary Routes. Anne

I’d like to thank Sam for going out tonight to do the hill. I’ve just been told that we qualify for Secondary Gritting tomorrow morning too, that means they expect very poor conditions. Anne

I’d like to thank Dom and Matt for going out tonight to do the hill. Even though they’ve gritted it be careful in the morning as any change in the weather could still produce ice. Anne
